Cookie Policy
How PropForge AI Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies on propforgeai.pro, and how you control consent.
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how PropForge AI Inc. ("we," "us") uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies when you visit propforgeai.pro. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. We comply with Canadian privacy expectations under PIPEDA by requesting consent for non-essential cookies and documenting your choices for six months.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember preferences, or understand usage patterns. Similar technologies include local storage keys, session identifiers and pixel tags used by analytics or advertising partners. Cookies may be "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by vendors we embed).
3. How we use cookies
We group cookies into four categories. Strictly necessary cookies always run because the site cannot operate securely without them. Analytics, advertising and preferences cookies run only if you consent via our banner — Accept all, Reject all, or Customise.
4. Cookie categories
4.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies enable core functionality — security, load balancing, cookie consent storage, and form spam protection. They do not require consent under typical PIPEDA interpretations because the service you request cannot be provided without them.
- propforge_cookie_consent — stores your banner choice (necessary, analytics, preferences). Duration: six months. First-party.
- Session identifiers — maintain secure form submission context where applicable. Duration: session. First-party.
4.2 Analytics
Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate traffic — pages viewed, referral sources, device types — so we can improve site performance. They are disabled until you consent. We configure analytics to avoid collecting unnecessary personal identifiers where possible.
- Plausible Analytics (if enabled post-consent) — privacy-oriented pageview statistics. Duration: up to twelve months. Third-party processor. Data may be processed outside Canada under contractual safeguards.
- First-party analytics flags — remember that analytics scripts may load. Duration: six months. First-party.
4.3 Advertising
We do not run behavioural advertising cookies on propforgeai.pro at launch. If we introduce measurement pixels for campaign attribution in future, this policy will list vendors, purposes and durations before activation, and the cookie banner will offer opt-in. Currently, no advertising cookies are set without a policy update and fresh consent flow.
4.4 Preferences
Preference cookies remember choices that improve usability — for example, dismissing auxiliary notices or remembering reduced-motion alignment where technically feasible. They require consent and expire after six months unless cleared earlier.
- propforge_prefs — stores non-essential UI preferences when selected in Customise. Duration: six months. First-party.
5. Consent management
On your first visit, a banner offers Accept all, Reject all, and Customise. Your selection is stored in the propforge_cookie_consent cookie for six months, after which the banner reappears. You may change your mind anytime by clearing cookies in your browser or revisiting the banner after deletion.
Rejecting non-essential cookies does not block access to website content. Contact forms remain available; consent for PIPEDA personal information on forms is separate and handled via the unchecked consent checkbox on the contact page.
6. How to opt out
- Use our banner's Reject all or Customise controls;
- Clear propforgeai.pro cookies in browser settings;
- Enable "Do Not Track" or global privacy controls — we honour configured consent storage regardless;
- Install browser extensions that block analytics scripts if you previously accepted but wish to withdraw — then clear cookies to reset the banner.
Browser-specific instructions appear in your browser's help documentation under privacy or cookies.
7. Third-party vendors
Vendors that may process cookie-related data when consented include hosting and content delivery providers (infrastructure logs), analytics services listed above, and email delivery for form notifications (operational, not marketing profiles). Enterprise clients receive detailed sub-processor schedules in contracts. We do not sell cookie data or browsing profiles.
8. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add features, change vendors or respond to regulatory guidance. The "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Material additions of advertising cookies will not occur silently — we will update this page and re-prompt consent.
